NNPCL CEO Mele Kyari’s daughter dies in Abuja

Mele Kyari, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), has suffered the heartbreaking loss of his daughter.

Fatima Kyari, 25, reportedly passed away on Friday morning in Abuja.

While the circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear, Bashir Ahmad, a former aide to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, confirmed the tragic news in a post on his verified Facebook page on Friday.

He stated: “Deepest condolences to Mallam Mele Kyari, OFR, the GCEO of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, on the passing of his 25-year-old daughter, Fatima Kyari.

“She passed away on Friday morning and has since been buried in Abuja according to Islamic rites.

Allah ya jikan ta, Allah ya gafarta mata, Ameen!”
