Former BBAfrica winner, Karen Igho opens up about homelessness amid divorce

Karen Igho, the former winner of Big Brother Africa, has made a heartfelt revelation about her current living situation, disclosing that she has been without a home for the past year.

In a recent post on X, Igho shared that her homelessness is a result of her decision to end her union with her estranged husband, Yaroslav Rakos.

Igho expressed her concerns for her safety, stating that her husband should be held accountable if anything were to happen to her.

She urged Nigerians and Africans to pray for her and her children during this challenging time.

Her candid admission highlights the personal struggles she is facing as she navigates the difficult process of separation and the impact it has had on her life.

“I’m going through a divorce with my husband. I have been homeless for a year, and I have been hurt sexually and physically, so if anything happens, ask or hold the man who brought me to a country where I know no one. He is trying to take children away by saying I’m mentally sick.

“God Almighty bless Nigeria and Africa. My heart pray for your daughter of the soil. I have been through so much this past year. Please African, pray for my children and I. In case, you don’t hear from me again, know that I have been killed, I am not sick mentally and don’t do drugs,” she wrote.

The couple tied the knot in 2014 and are blessed with two children, however, they have had a number of marital challenges along the way leading to the recent call for divorce.

Upon winning the reality TV show, she has delved into acting, featuring in the M-Net series, Tinsel, and ‘Blackberry Babes Reloaded’ movie among others.
